Lamar Orville Baker

My Husband Lamar wasn’t diagnosed with Neurofibromatosis until December 2014 at the age of 37. He has gone his whole life being misdiagnosed and mistreated. Because of this horrible disease and type 2 diabetes he is fully disabled and facing numerous health issues. High blood pressure, broken bones, painful tumors up and down his spinal cord , muscle wasting, severe drop foot, chorinic pain are just a few. He was admitted into the hospital on thanksgiving and hasn’t been able to come home since and now resides in a skilled facility for rehabilitation and strengthing. He has to have surgery on his brain stem next month to remove a lesion that is affecting his mobility and also found out 4 days ago he has suffered 3 minor strokes! This man is a fighter and has endured so much in his life. Despite the pain he continues to push through each day so he can get home to his family and enjoy being a newly wed and stepfather!!
