Our son Jason was diagnosed with Neurofibromatosis Type 1 at 4 months old. His pediatrician in Atlanta noticed his Cafe Au Lait spots and decided to confirm her findings. Flash forward 3 years, a few MRI’s, several doctor visits and Jason is thriving with NF. He attends preschool 2 days a week, speech, occupational therapy and swimming. He enjoys going to the park and playing on the slides! Jason is a very intelligent and funny kid. Each day he brings a smile to our faces and that lets us know that he may have NF, but NF doesn’t have him!!
