Ayden just turned 5 yrs old but has already been through more than most people go through in a lifetime! He was diagnosed with NF1 when he was 9 months old and sees many doctors from KC to St Louis. So far, he has bilateral optic gliomas and brain tumors, because of which he is sedated every 3-6 mnths for MRIs. He has scoliosis that went from 9°-16.2° in 5 months that the doctors are closely watching. He has ADHD Combination Presentation, muscle weakness so he sees an OT and PT, a fibroma on his right ribs, many cafe au lait spots, and much more. But through it all he is a fighter and one tough little boy! He is smart, sweet, so funny, has a wonderful imagination, loves to play games, dance, sing, and play music! He says his favorite thing to do is spend time together with his family. And he loves his stuffed animals very much and they help comfort him when he has to do medical things!
