Our world was turned upside down when Hunter was diagnosed with NF1 micro-deletion syndrome at 10 months old (he currently just turned 1.) Hunter currently has 2 physical therapists , 1 occupational therapist, a nuerologist, geneticist, opthalmologist, an ENT dr, and his normal pediatrician. At 9 months old he had an MRI that told us he has “possible” lesions on his brain. He also was diagnosed with 20 CALS, failure to thrive, and low muscle tone. This year he will need a EEG and another MRI to monitor. We are so proud of how far he has come.
