Cooper Patrick Vollmer

Cooper is a strong-willed, determined, and persistent 4 year old. He is my hero, and my son. At 2, he was diagnosed with an NF1 OPG that extended to the hypothalamus and brainstem. After 14 months of chemo, his tumor and vision are stable. Although now legally blind, he thrives despite all of the hurdles that have come before him. He steals the heart of all who come to cross his path. We say it’s because he doesn’t know any differently, and he’s never met a stranger. He’s a living lesson of love and strength.
