Tyler is the kind of kid who immediately lights up the room. Tyler’s journey has not been an easy one, though. He was diagnosed with NF at 9 months old and has 3 brain tumors, a plexiform neurofibroma just behind his left eye that causes pain and disfigurement, and a tumor on his left leg that causes pain and leg length discrepancies. He just finished up a 2-year chemo trial with the hope of shrinking his tumors. This treatment plan did not come without complications- he received weekly injections that made him feel ill, irritable, and uncomfortable.
