I may look normal but I have NF 1 and when I tell people that I have NF1 I they ask what is that and I tell them. I have had 2 surgeries because of my disease I deal with migraines almost every day . I go to my neurologist every 6 months and I see an eye specialist so he can look at my optic nurve and make sure my eyes are good. I get an MRI every year so see how the ones on my brain are doing. I used to wish Had the perfect body so I can wear my bikini, but I know that will never happen- my Zumba instructor became my role model now I deal with what I have and now I don’t mind who I am. I am my own hero and God gave me NF because I am strong enough to deal with it. I have a loving family and boyfriend that supports me in everything I do and my friend that is there for me when I need her.
