He loves legos and superman. His favorite thing to do is to is to help his daddy cook. He protects his little sister at all costs. He tells his mom he loves her every single day. And he has NF1- which can lead to disfigurement; blindness; skeletal abnormalities; dermal, brain, and spinal tumors; loss of limbs; malignancies; and learning disabilities. He goes to two appts a week outside of school to help him with his learning disabilities, meets with a specialists at least once a month and travels to see his doctors. He has had two throat surgeries and a third one being scheduled as we speak. At school he struggles to make friends. But through all this he is positive, he hugs and he laughs. He gets up everyday day ready to face the world and whatever it might bring with smile and a attitude that life is amazing. He is our hero.
