Shya Robinson

Shya was diagnosed with NF at birth. A genetic test confirmed NF1. The diagnosis scared us all but Shya has been unafraid all along. Shya is six years old, and yet so passionate about life and about helping others. She unaware of the challenges she may face, but everyday she says “I have confidence, so I can do anything”. She has not let NF1 stop her from doing the things she loves to do. In fact she participated in her first Red Nose Run this year in Cleveland. It was moving to see my little girl run across that field…running for her own cause. Shya is going to do big things in life, and my prayer is that she will continue to help others and inspire them to help as well.
