There probably aren’t many events that ask for your undie size when you register, but we don’t exactly want to be like everyone else. And since it’s an undie run, we’re not going to go with just any tighty-whities, we need an undie partner that shares our values. Pact Organic believes,
“everyone deserves to be comfortable in their own skin. You’re the best part of any outfit anyway, so we stick to our values so you can live yours.”
And when we saw that Pact believes in “rocking mention-worthy “unmentionables” like you were born to,” we were sold.

Cupid’s: We were really excited to get the call from Pact about becoming partners for the 2019 Cupid’s Undie Run. What about Cupid’s made you want to join us in the fight against neurofibromatosis (NF)?
Pact: We felt that our values aligned. We believe that everyone should be comfortable in their skin, as their unique selves, without hiding any part of them. When we discovered that Cupid’s first run was done in undies because those affected with NF can’t cover up their tumors, we knew it was a perfect fit.
C: How did you first hear about Cupid’s?
P: We saw a picture of a bunch of people running in undies come across on our Instagram feed and that’s enough to get anyone’s attention, let alone an underwear company!
C: Rumor has it you are already getting your team together for the Denver event. What’s the Pact team name for CUR?
P: No team name yet, but we’re still thinking.
C: You’ve still got time for the name, but what other creative ideas have you come up with?
P: We want to do a new twist on a kissing booth…a wedgie booth! The details are still being worked-out, but we thought it would be fun to give people a chance to make an even bigger impact by getting a professionally-administered wedgie in exchange for Pact making an extra donation to Cupid’s Charity.
We’re also trying to figure out something with the concept of “sock bombs.” One of our favorite products are our socks, which are made with the same super-soft organic cotton as all our clothes. We think we could hide them, throw them, or something like that — we’re open to any fun ideas!
C: We love your tagline, “Just wear you.” Where did that come from?
P: One thing that bothers us about the fashion industry is the strong marketing that seems to indicate that “you are what you wear,” as if the clothes people wear somehow determines who they are. We believe that the people make the clothes, not the other way around. It’s actually part of the reason we started out making basic clothes like socks, underwear and t-shirts — we want to make products you feel good about wearing and we want you to feel like your purest authentic self while you’re wearing them.
