Alex is our 10 year old little boy and hero. He was diagnosed in February 2014 with NF 2 (Neurofibromatosis, Type II). He underwent brain surgery in July 2014 in Los Angeles, CA. Though he has several other tumors on his spine and within his brain, as well as suffers from peripheral neuropathy causing fott drop, he does not let this hold him back. He is an intelligent young man, and an avid baseball, basketball and soccer player. Alex is a fighter and chooses to NEVER GIVE UP! There is no cure for NF. We must raise awareness and funds for research. We can help bring an end to NF!
