Brandon just turned 18 and he has dealt with the complications of NF1 since he was diagnosed at age 3. During this past Christmas break from school, Brandon had surgery in Los Angeles at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. The wonderful surgeons removed a large plexiform neurofibroma near his hip area that was causing him pain and a lot of issues sleeping and wearing basic pants. Brandon has undergone many MRI’s and doctors appointments 3 hours away from his home in the San Luis Obispo area. He has been a trooper all his life dealing with the disorder and rarely complained about what he had to endure. I’m very proud of him working through some learning disorders that presented challenges in the last 5 years and how he has overcome so much. We support all the great efforts of the Children’s Tumor Foundation and pray along with many for the goal of #EndNF.
