This is Grace, She is 7 years old (almost 8!) Grace was diagnosed at 3 months old with NF1 after we discovered she had 7 Cafe Au Laits. We had no ideal what NF was and were terrified. As her parents, we armed ourselves with knowledge and surrounded ourselves with new friends who knew how to help us cope with this diagnosis. One positive of NF, is the support and friendships we have made for life with the NF community. We weren’t meant to do this alone!
Grace is a happy, healthy, charismatic little girl with a heart of gold. NF does not get her down! She loves to draw, and sculpt dresses out of play doh for her barbies! When she grows up, she would like to be a baby doctor. Thank you for your donations and support-we are hopeful there will be a world without NF soon for Grace and the others affected!
