My hero is my boyfriend, Isaac. He was diagnosed with NF at the age of 6 months. In addition to NF he had a sunken chest, which needed to be fixed with surgery, and is now at risk for tumors forming on his surgical sites. He never lets his NF get in the way of his life, even with the tumors, the chronic pain and scoliosis, he still has a smile on his face everyday. One day, he hopes to become a food scientist and me, I’d like to find a cure for NF. I love him so much and I’m proud of him every single day because of everything he’s overcome. Let’s END NF!
