Kendall was diagnosed with Neurofibromatosis (NF) type 1 when she was just 5 months old. Kendall is now 3 1/2, and has spent 16 months of her her life on two different chemotherapy treatments to attempt to shrink the three optic nerve gliomas (tumors) that she has in her brain. It’s not over yet, as Kendall prepares to possibly start chemo again in January if her tumors keep up their growth.
