Logan was diagnosed with NF-1 just before his 2nd birthday. A year and a half later he was on chemotherapy to stabilize tumors throughout his brain including his optic nerve and brain stem. He has smiled through countless ER visits, sedated MRI’s, infusions, hospitalizations, and tests no child should have to go through. Now 7 years old with continued growth of tumors throughout his brain, Logan is having much success with new experimental MEK treatment. Through it all, Logan has never lost his shine, and boy does he shine. Fearless and friendly, Logan greets everyone with love and laughter. Whether it’s making friends in the grocery check-out line, or keeping his doctor’s laughing, Logan is champion to so many. It’s his endless outpouring of energy and love, despite his sometime painful and uncertain battle, that makes him a champion to all!
