We actually live about an hour from austin. Madysen is 12 years old. Diagnosed when she was 10. However she had been fighting migraines since she was 4. She had the cafe spots since she was born yet no one could tell me what was wrong with her. It took finding her scoliosis to get the correct diagnosed. Currently Madysen has 3 tumors on her spine, an optic glioma on her eye, tumors on her right breast plate, her hip and under her arm. She does have learning issues that come along with it. However she still going into the 7th grade. She just has to work much harder than her peers. She is an amazing girl. Nothing seems to bother her. Despite wearing a brace for 22 hours a day for her scoliosis, migraines, and pain from the tumors on occasion she still wakes up everyday with a smile. She has never questioned God like I have. And looking at her yu would never know. She is my hero.
