Philip and Helen Moss

Renie Porter Moss and her husband Philip are the parents of two beautiful children, Philip Jr and Helen. In 2011, when Little Philip was six years old, he was diagnosed with NF1, due to a tumor in his neck. The tumor has continued to grow, threatening his airway and nerve functions, and he is currently taking oral chemotherapy to try to stop the tumor from growing. Helen was diagnosed in 2013, which led to the diagnosis of “Big” Philip since having two children with NF meant, statistically, it was genetically linked to a parent. The Moss family is dedicated to raising awareness and support for a cure in their children’s lifetime. I had the opportunity to recently raise with a friend over $800 through the NF Endurance Team in the Jazz Half Marathon in New Orleans! I wont stop there!
