Ryan was misdiagnosed at 6 months with an eye condition and correctly diagnosed with NF2 at 8…shortly before losing his eye to an NF Tumor. Now 17 he has had a port installed for chemo to reduce the size of his ear tumors and just recently had brain surgery to remove an orange size brain tumor. He has MRI’s every 3-6 months to monitor numerous spine tumors, additional brain tumors and his ear tumors. He was selected as the Denver NF hero for 2013 for all the funds he, his school , and his family have helped raise for CTF. Raising funds because we MUST find answers for this disease to help Ryan and all the others that endure NF struggles on a daily basis. #endnf
