Spencer was diagnosed in the fall of 2017 with a genetic condition called Neurofibromatosis type 1, also called NF1. NF1 affects 1 in every 3000 people and is a condition that can cause tumors to form anywhere along the nervous system. The Children’s Tumor Foundation has been a great resource for us and is an amazing organization that leads the way in NF research and awareness!
We may not have a CURE, but we HOPE! We also have a village of people who love and support us and who want to help to raise awareness and support NF research through fundraising !!
