Tyler is a very energetic little boy who can brighten up the darkest day with his infectious smile and laughter.
Tyler was diagnosed the day before his first birthday with NF1 because he has multiple café au lait spots all over his torso, back and legs and an optic glioma behind his left optic nerve. Multiple scans over the next year showed that the glioma had enhancement so Tyler began chemo to shrink the tumor. After 9 months of chemo, the tumor stabilized and as of today, Taylor is 6 months chemo free! Tyler’s last scan did show that his brain stem is now enlarged and that the tumor is beginning to show signs of enhancement so chemo will be in his future.
Through it all, Tyler has maintained his pleasant personality and it the happiest little boy you will ever meet. Our goal is to raise awareness and money to research NF so that kids around the world can someday have an NF free World!
