Tyler Neppl

Tyler is the kind of kid that immediately lights up the room. Tyler’s journey has not been an easy one. He was diagnosed with NF (neurofibromatosis) at 9 months old and, he has 3 brain tumors, a plexiform neurofibroma (a complex tumor) just behind his left eye that causes him pain and disfigurement and a tumor on his left leg that causes discomfort and leg length discrepancy. He just finished up a 2 year chemo drug trial. The hope was to stop any growth and better yet, shrink his tumor! This treatment plan did not come without complications. He received injections weekly that made him feel ill, irritable and uncomfortable.
