I met Zach several years ago at CTF’s annual summer camp in Utah for people with NF. We became fast friends. Even though outside of the camp, we lived on opposite sides of the country, we remained close.
Five years ago I got a call from his mother, July 4th, 2010. Zach had passed away due to complications of the illness. He fought hard and no matter what, always had a smile on his face no matter how hard things got for him.
I love you Zach, and miss you dearly.
